Not only Asaram Bapu but almost all the godmen and the godwomen in this unfortunately deeply religious country are conmen and criminals. There is no account of funds or their practices. Take any one from Mata Amritanandamayi to Satya Sai Baba to Asaram Bapu etc etc.

This is an old story about Mahendrasinh Chawla who accused Narayan Sai of intimidating him with 'consequences' if he 'opens his mouth' with information against Asaram Bapu. I wonder whether the link submitter to this story is Mahendrasinh Chawla himself or someone else.
